Driving Booth Traffic and Lead Generation at a Trade Show

At the exhibition booth of Core Concept Technologies Co., Ltd. at the Manufacturing DX Expo, part of the 38th Monozukuri World [Tokyo] (July 1–3, 2026), we introduced an interactive Portalgraph display that helped increase booth traffic and lead generation.

Challenges

At trade show booths, attracting visitors' attention among numerous exhibitors and drawing them inside to generate business leads is a critical challenge. Core Concept Technologies was also exploring display methods that would catch the eye of passersby and increase foot traffic to their booth, where they introduce manufacturing DX solutions and customer success stories.

Solution

We deployed Portalgraph displays across two setups: a 120-inch ambient light-rejecting screen with a projector, and a 47-inch television. By projecting Google Earth in stereoscopic 3D, we created an eye-catching experience that drew the gaze of passersby along the exhibition aisle. Without requiring visitors to wear headsets, the large screen and TV delivered an immersive display where content appeared to emerge from the flat surface, making it easy for attendees to stop by and engage.

Results

Lead acquisition through the Portalgraph-powered interactive display ranked first among all exhibits within the booth. Overall booth traffic reached 1.68 times the target, demonstrating that the stereoscopic exhibition effectively attracted visitors and contributed to both booth engagement and lead generation. The approach aligns with CCT's exhibition concept of offering an experiential Google Earth display that visitors can enjoy between meetings.
