We provided technical support for the first AR solo concert, "Nijiiro Endless dream!", by VTuber Kobato Takanashi, held on March 28, 2026 at Shibuya 7thFLOOR.
Challenges
Rather than a standard solo concert, the client aimed to realize an AR live experience comparable to productions from major VTuber agencies. For an independent VTuber creator, however, budget and operational barriers were high, and they needed a practical way to deliver innovative stage direction.
Solution
We adapted Portalgraph for multi-viewer operation and delivered the first AR live by an independent VTuber using
Portalgraph-powered AR live production. Audience members wore 3D glasses to experience Kobato and the stage effects stereoscopically. After the performance, we also held our newly styled hologram 1on1 experience,
Portal Meet.
Results
We demonstrated that even independent VTubers can deliver high-impact AR stage production and a new kind of immersive audience experience. The project was also covered by MoguLive as a notable AR live challenge by an independent creator.
